Evelyn, originally from Memphis, Tennessee, discovered her passion for animal care at an early age. Growing up with family dogs and inspired by her grandfather who owned a ranch and even kept coyotes as pets, she developed a natural affinity for working with animals.
Her journey in veterinary medicine began in high school when she started volunteering at a local rescue. At 16, she secured her first position as a kennel assistant at a veterinary hospital, later advancing to become a veterinary assistant. To gain broader experience, she worked at various hospitals during her breaks. After graduating from Rhodes College in 2019, she took a year and a half to work at an emergency veterinary clinic, which sparked her interest in emergency medicine.
Currently pursuing her veterinary degree at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, Evelyn is expected to graduate in May 2025. During her program, she has continued to expand her experience by working at different hospitals throughout the Memphis area.
Making her first visit to Las Vegas, Evelyn is eager to explore the city beyond the Strip and experience the unique cases that the western United States has to offer. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, and spending time with her Chihuahua-terrier mix, Potato.
