Molly is currently a fourth-year student at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Having been a life-long animal lover, as well as a lover of medicine, Molly knew she always wanted to be a veterinarian. She gained hands-on experience while working at a rural animal clinic in South Carolina, but she is originally from North Carolina. Molly graduated from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington with a Bachelor of Science in biology.
During her time at UNC, Molly participated in sea turtle research and spent two weeks in Ecuador for a brief study in animal behavioral science. She says small animals and exotic animals are her true passion in animal medicine.
She learned about the externship program at Craig Road Animal Hospital from her friend Cal, who was also part of the externship program at the hospital! Molly is most excited about learning new parasites and diseases in different geographical locations, as well as learning more about animal medicine.
In her spare time, Molly enjoys the great outdoors, especially hiking and boating. She also loves to travel and often visits her family in North Carolina.
Molly has two cats named Finn and Freyja, and a hedgehog named Ella.
Welcome aboard, Molly!
