Katelyn was born and raised in Ragley, south-west Louisiana. She attended McNeese State University for her undergrad, with a major in biology. Katelyn always wanted to work in animal care since she found out she could be a doctor for animals. Her Aunt is a veterinarian so she was exposed to the profession at a young age. Katelyn finds great satisfaction in the diagnosing of a patient. Her goal is to do her part in strengthening the bond between humans and animals. She currently attends Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine.

Katelyn attended a lecture that Mike, our hospital administrator, gave at Louisiana State University, and became very interested in our facility. Katelyn has never been out west as far as Nevada, so she found it a great opportunity to see what Craig Road had to offer. Acupuncture and surgery are two major areas she hopes to get more first-hand experience in. When arriving at Craig Road Animal Hospital she noticed the fast-paced and busy environment, which appeals to her. Eventually, Katelyn would like to become a small animal general practitioner.

In her spare time, Katelyn enjoys reading, spending time with her family, riding horses, and is a certified scuba diver. She is a proud mother to a Dodson mix named Kora. Kora is a stray that was brought into a clinic Katelyn worked for. After fostering Kora, Katelyn had become attached and decided to adopt her.

Welcome, Katelyn to Craig Road Animal Hospital.
