Meet Meghan our latest DVM Extern,

Meghan is from Morgan Town, West Virginia. She decided that working with animals is what she wanted to do in college and began a major in Animal Science at West Virginia University. Where she went on to receive her Master’s in Public Health. She also started working in veterinary clinics and on local farms. Currently, she attends Mississippi State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.

While working with animals Meghan found her calling. She believes animals are an important part of life and finds peace in dealing with her patients. Meghan hopes to specialize in cats later in her career. However, she has recently bonded with large farm animals, so she is undecided which direction she will take.

Meghan heard about Craig Road Animal Hospital from a couple of friends that graduated last year. Her first thoughts when entering our animal hospital where that the facility was gorgeous. “I love that it is such a large and innovative place.” she said. She looks forward to working with the ultrasound technology.

In her spare time, Meghan enjoys; outdoor activities, crocheting blankets, and arts and crafts. She is a proud mother of two cats named Oliver and Olivia. Although she loves them dearly, they do interfere with her beloved hobby crocheting. They love snatching the wool every chance they get.

Please join us in welcoming Meghan to Craig Road Animal Hospital.
