Our pet of the month for September is Rosie, a silly, lovable gal who has brought so much support in her owner’s life.

Although she has a tendency to bark and play with her food before eating, Rosie is an Emotional Support Animal to her owner and her owner’s son. Rosie and her owner’s son became fast friends after Rosie was rescued three years ago.

“Possibly because she helped detected a heart issue with him,” the owner said. She also said that Rosie makes for great company since the owner has been home more while undergoing physical therapy.

“She is also great support for her much older sister, too,” Rosie’s owner said. “Her sister has been in a lot of pain due to what we are learning is a pinched nerve in her back, and Rosie sleeps with her at night so that her sister doesn’t whine.”

According to Rosie’s owner, her older sister is doing better now that she’s under our care at Craig Road Animal Hospital! Keep up the great work, Rosie!
