Originally from Queens, New York, Victoria’s passion for animals began long before she owned a pet of her own. As a child, she dreamed of having an animal companion, and when she welcomed her first dog into her life eight years ago, that dream quickly grew into a calling. Caring for her German Shepherd solidified her desire to pursue veterinary medicine and dedicate her career to helping animals.
From a young age, Victoria knew she wanted to become a veterinarian. Her love for animals and fascination with veterinary medicine continued to grow as she learned more about the profession, reinforcing her commitment to making a difference in the lives of both pets and their owners.
Victoria completed her undergraduate education at LIU Post before continuing her veterinary training at Long Island University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Victoria is currently a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine student at Long Island University College of Veterinary Medicine and anticipates completing her degree in 2028.
This is Victoria’s first time visiting Las Vegas, Nevada, and she is excited to experience a new city while learning how veterinary medicine is practiced in a different region of the country.
During this externship, Victoria is focused on strengthening her ability to apply classroom knowledge to real clinical cases while continuing to build confidence in patient care and clinical decision making. She has a particular interest in emergency medicine and nutrition and is eager to gain hands-on experience that will prepare her for a future in practice. She also hopes to deepen her understanding of the business side of veterinary medicine as she works toward one day owning or managing a veterinary practice.
Outside of the hospital, Victoria enjoys working out and spending time outdoors. She is excited to immerse herself in the experience, connect with veterinary professionals, and continue learning from every opportunity throughout her career.
