Moses, originally from Baltimore, Maryland, developed his passion for veterinary medicine through growing up with two beloved dogs. His childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian remained constant throughout his early years, with a particular interest in small animal medicine.
During his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland, Moses’s veterinary interests expanded when he became involved with the campus farm, where he gained valuable experience working with cattle and other farm animals. This diverse exposure helped broaden his understanding of veterinary medicine across different species.
Moses is currently pursuing his veterinary degree at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine with an expected graduation in fall of 2025.
He is eager to expand his surgical skills during this externship. Coming from the East Coast, he’s particularly interested in learning about region-specific veterinary care, such as rattlesnake vaccines, that are more common in the West. While in Las Vegas, he’s excited to explore the unique landscape, particularly the mountains, and experience the famous Strip.
When not focused on his veterinary studies, Moses enjoys an active lifestyle that includes hiking, attending concerts and sporting events, spending time with friends, and caring for his cat, Buzz.
