Morgan was born in Chicago, but moved to Richmond Virginia when she was two. She has always wanted to be a veterinarian. Her grandfather was a vet, as was her aunt, and so for as long as she has been able to answer the question “What do you want to be when you grow up?” she has known that the answer was; “to be a veterinarian.”
Morgan attended Virginia Tech for her bachelors; however, in her sophomore year was admitted into the vet school at Virginia Maryland two years early! Her particular areas of interest in veterinary medicine are emergency medicine, internal medicine, and reproduction.
Morgan is excited to begin her externship at Craig Road, “This is a huge hospital,” says Morgan. “Large hospitals have lots of doctors and therefore more people to learn from. There are always things going on.”
In her spare time, Morgan likes to run and hike and admits to having a Netflix problem. She also has a 17-year-old calico cat name Cali.
