Originally from Redding, California, Danielle grew up in Northern California with a lifelong love for animals. Surrounded by cats throughout her childhood, she developed an appreciation for animal care at an early age. That passion has only continued to grow, and she recently rescued a cat of her own.
Danielle knew she wanted to become a veterinarian when she was just seven years old. Motivated by a desire to save lives and a strong interest in wildlife conservation, she has remained committed to pursuing a career where she can make a meaningful impact on both animals and the people who care for them.
Danielle earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara before continuing her veterinary education at Western University of Health Sciences.
Danielle is currently a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine student at Western University of Health Sciences and anticipates completing her degree in 2028.
Having visited Las Vegas before, Danielle is excited to return and gain hands-on experience in a new clinical setting while learning from veterinarians practicing in the region.
During this externship, Danielle is focused on strengthening her radiology interpretation skills while continuing to build her clinical knowledge and confidence. She has a particular interest in exotic and wildlife medicine and is eager to explore different career paths as she continues her veterinary education.
Outside of the hospital, Danielle enjoys sewing and spending time with her rescued cat.
