Originally from Grand Blanc, Michigan, Kennedi’s passion for veterinary medicine began early in life. At just 4 years old, she developed a love for dogs that led her parents to buy her a puppy book to learn about different breeds. This interest deepened when she got her first dog in 6th grade and a subsequent vet visit sparked her fascination with veterinary medicine.
At 14, Kennedi began volunteering at her local veterinary hospital, where supportive vet techs allowed her to shadow surgeries – an experience that confirmed her career path.
Her professional journey includes working as a veterinary assistant and boarding attendant at a hospital in East Lansing, conducting behavioral research at a humane society, researching with cattle, and completing an externship at an emergency hospital in Los Angeles. Between externships, she works as a veterinary assistant at a veterinary hospital in Bay City, Michigan.
Kennedi earned her Animal Science degree from Michigan State University in May 2023 and is currently pursuing her veterinary studies at Purdue University with an expected graduation in May 2027.
During this externship, she aims to gain surgical experience and develop her client communication skills. This externship marks her first visit to Las Vegas, where she hopes to explore the city and attend a show.
In her free time, Kennedi enjoys dancing, singing, working out, traveling, and spending time with her three dogs and two cats.
