Our Pet of the Month for June is Penny, a Miniature Dachshund who came to Craig Road Animal Hospital after she experienced some struggles with another animal hospital. According to Penny’s owner, Penny had some difficulty after getting spayed. Penny wouldn’t even accept having a leash put on her.
“Thank goodness for the doctors at Craig Road Animal Hospital,” Penny’s owner said. “She told me about a lady who does training and works with dogs like Penny.”
Since then, Penny has made great progress! Her owner said she can now put a harness on Penny’s leash, and a dog jacket. While Penny still has a ways to go, her owner believes she’ll make a full recovery!
“Thank you to the entire team at Craig Road,” Penny’s owner said.
