Meet Andrew,
Andrew is from Newton, North Carolina. He is currently attending Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. He began his work in the animal care business in high school as a veterinary assistant.
Andrew believes that as a veterinarian he can connect both people and the patients. He said, “I am just as much an animal person as I am a people person.”. He looks forward to beginning his career as a general practitioner. He wants to focus on learning more about oncology and radiology.
A good friend of Andrew’s from school, recommended the externship program at Craig Road Animal Hospital. He was very interested after learning about the size of the facility. In a fourteen-doctor animal hospital, he believes that the various different perspectives will aid him in his learning experience.
Andrew is a proud father to a 10-year-old beagle named, Scout. Outside of work he enjoys hiking, going to the beach, and swimming. Since he is from North Carolina he frequently explores the Appalachian Mountains.
