The canine flu season is upon us! H3N8 and H2N2 are two highly contagious strains of the dog flu. The syndromes in these strains can vary from mild to severe, which can lead to respiratory infection and other medical complication. Seek vet care if your animal appears to have a runny nose, cough, or loss of appetite. Luckily there is a vaccination for both strands, but this is not treatment only a preventative action. Don’t forget to get your pet vaccinated.
