Kaylee Lawrence was raised in South Central Pennsylvania on what her mother called a “farm-ette.” She was surrounded by chickens, goats, sheep, cattle, barn cats, and dogs her entire life. Her interest in animals started at a young age and only grew through 4-H and college.
Kaylee attended Penn State and earned a BS in Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences and Nursing. She is a Registered Nurse. Throughout her schooling, she has learned from a variety of Veterinary General Practitioners and researchers. When not around animals or studying, she can normally be found on hiking trails with her dog, out in her vegetable garden, or in the kitchen trying a new recipe.
Kaylee’s motivation comes from her extensive support system found in her family, friends (human and animal), and church.
