Shannon grew up in Glendale, Arizona. She has always wanted to work in animal care. As a child, she would aid in helping lost animals find their homes. She began her undergrad at Northern Arizona University, in Flagstaff, Arizona with a major in biology. She currently attends Louisiana State University School of Veterinary medicine in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Her favorite part of becoming a veterinarian is that she has the opportunity to help both animals and people. She gets joy from bringing happiness, and peace of mind, to families.
Shannon became interested in Craig Road Animal Hospital after she met a previous extern that had a wonderful experience. She also finds Las Vegas interesting. Craig Road Animal Hospital’s appeal also comes from the many doctors on staff, and all the services provided. She hopes to get a lot of experience working with cats, and wants to focus on veterinary practices with felines in the future.
Shannon is a proud mother of a female cat named Lola. Lola is very friendly and loves to cuddle, although she is not very fond of other animals. Shannon adopted Lola after a friend gave her up for medical reasons. They have been a happy pair ever since. In between her studies, Shannon enjoys playing video games where she can play online with friends. She also enjoys reading fiction particularly fantasy novels.
Welcome, Shannon to Craig Road Animal Hospital!
